What a friendly dog! I enjoyed hand stripping this Irish Terrier today.
What is hand stripping?
Hand stripping is a grooming technique used on wire-haired or "rough-coated" breeds. It involves pulling out the dead top coat by hand, rather than cutting the hair with clippers. Manually removing the dead hair from the follicle makes room for new “harsh” wire hair to grow in.
